Bob Reynolds memorial service
The memorial service for Bob Reynolds that was held in Terrell, TX on June 6, 2021, is the home of the #1 British Flying Training School where RAF cadets learned to fly under American flying instructors during the war. There is a very good museum there. The ceremony was held in the museum.

We are mourning the loss of Carver McGriff. He was a WWII Army war veteran, a pastor and an author. "He is VERY well-known for his book, "Making Sense of Normandy: A Young Man's Journey of Faith and War," his story on his hellish experiences in the infantry slogging through the bocages of France and the incredible number of casualties of Allied troops - that seemed to never have been remembered. Americans often ONLY remember D-Day and not the year-long bloody aftermath on the way to Germany! Carver McGriff spoke at the WWII Roundtable and took folks on guided tours of the battlefields." Dr. Charles A. Holt, D.O., Executive Board President, Indianapolis WWII Roundtable - Ernie Pyle Chapter.
